The client specialises in the production of advanced combat protective equipment. Their products include ballistic protection systems, military training equipment, and specialist gear used by military forces and counter-terrorism units. As part of a new project specification, they required a flame-retardant (FR) and infrared reflective resistant (IRR) velour loop produced in a military olive colour, designed to integrate seamlessly into their protective equipment.
Alongside the technical specification, the client also required a supplier capable of delivering quickly. The enquiry was submitted to HALCO as part of their tender process, meaning lead times and responsiveness were essential factors in the selection of a supplier.
To meet their specification, we produced a bespoke version of HALCO COMFORT Velour incorporating flame-retardant properties, infrared reflective resistance, and the required military olive colour to ensure compatibility with defence equipment standards.
